A mobile whose elements, representations of 2018 projects, hover together, and drift apart, converse and diverge, Echo illustrates the way making and meaning meld.

 

Responsive to its environment, the work twists and turns, at times speaking to those viewing and at others with itself. A cloud condition, each project element -- mylar ‘yuccas’, paper and graphite ‘X’ bench, and ink ‘rock’ -- inhabits a space unto itself, with each existing on a different angle, but aligning and mingling with the softest wake.
